TED^X Lancers International School

The much awaited countdown to Lancers International School's first TEDxYouth Conference has begun! Mark the date, the 23rd of September, when you will get the opportunity to put yourself in someone else's shoes and experience a world of unique ideas. The eight speakers at the conference will be equipped with unique ideas and inspiring words for all of us. Our organising team is hard at work and all geared up for the event, and you should start getting excited too!

A Compassionate Instinct for the Greater Good aims to spread the true Lancerian ideology of compassion and coexistence. As we immerse ourselves into the globalised world, we begin to lose certain imperative qualities that have facilitated peaceful human coexistence and progress. The most important of those is compassion. To have compassion is to have the ability to look beyond the materialistic world and appreciate the true nature of what surrounds them. It's to have the ability to love a person for their imperfections rather than despite them; it's to accept a person as they come and to look for what is good in the world. That's what we aim to endorse in TEDx Lancersinternational School; with our theme we want to spread the ideas of compassion and social understanding
